Do customer payments go through CharterOsprey?
No. You connect your own Stripe account, so deposits, balances, tips, walk-on payments, and gift-card purchases are processed for your business. Your CharterOsprey software subscription is billed separately.
Can I use it for both private and shared trips?
Yes. Private charters reserve a boat and time slot; walk-on trips manage individual seat inventory and departure minimums in a separate flow.
What happens when weather cancels a trip?
Block future dates or times with blackouts, update the booking, record the outcome in the trip log, and use the financial ledger for refunds or adjustments.
Can my mate or office manager sign in?
Yes. Add staff accounts, control roles, and protect logins with TOTP two-factor authentication. Every important admin action is auditable.
Do I need a developer to get started?
No. Signup creates your captain workspace with a boat, editable starter trips, operating hours, email templates, booking site, and admin login.
